Goals


General goal:

  • Develop method for the positional accuracy assessment of 3D linear spatial data being applicable in production sceneries.

Specific goals :

  • Defining a field survey method for capturing 3D linear elements that can serve as reference for the assessments and controls.

  • Defining methods for processing the 3D linear elements.

  • Determining the possibility of use of GNSS multi traces for positional assessments.

  • Understand the behavior of positional control methods based on lines and their extension to the 3D case.

Naturally, all objectives, both explicit and implicit, are oriented to a final end. This objective is to provide the geomatics industry a refined methodology for the use of this type of elements in the assessment of the positional component of the new generation of 3D spatial data products used in Smart environments..
